Welcome
to your yoga journey! Awww, we love working with our beginners! We will take good care and make sure you get what you need to succeed!

We get lots of newbies, so you won't be the only one! We have lots of support for you.

In case you're asking: flexibility is not a prerequisite
for yoga! It is a result of yoga! We once had a student joke she was so stiff she couldn't touch her knees! Haha that's a great place to start!

Welcome also if you are somewhat experienced but still consider yourself a “beginner”. At what point does one cross over from beginner to intermediate? 🤔 Haha.

If it makes you feel better, yoga is an infinite refinement of the basics. When you get enough experience to be "advanced", funny enough you go back to the same things you heard in the beginning! But now you "get it" at an ever-deepening level.

Whether you are brand-new to yoga or just unlocked a new level that's made yoga brand-new all over again, here are some programs for you!

Yoga Foundations

This is the program we recommend you start with (either this or the Transformation Challenge). Through short video lessons you can watch on your phone before class, this will teach you how to do the poses, along with the foundational principles of yoga. “Doing it right” makes all the difference in yoga. You’ll graduate from this program with confidence on your mat and a foundation you can build upon for life!

Yoga Modifications

Are you not-so-bendy? Older? Injured? Overweight? This is a companion program to Yoga Foundations, and teaches you how to modify the poses to safely suit your body. If you know how to modify correctly, you’ll still get most of the benefits people get from the full expression! Yoga isn’t about how deeply you can do the poses, it’s about how deeply you connect with yourself. 

By the way, we are a judge-free zone. We don’t judge based on “how well you’re doing” or how flexible or in shape you are. The thing we celebrate is CONSISTENCY. Because we know that with consistency, RESULTS ARE GUARANTEED!!

Transformation Challenge

This 40-Day jumpstart includes nutrition coaching and accountability. Weight loss is part of it if that’s your goal - but even if you eat great and don’t want or need to lose weight, there are probably ways you can tweak your habits to feel even better! It’s a great tune-up to layer on with your yoga. After all, if you’re doing all these amazing things for your body on the mat, why not optimize it in the kitchen and compound the benefits of both? This is recommended for everyone, not just beginners.

Meet other yogis and deepen your learning of yoga in our workshops! We did these all the time before the pandemic and had a waiting list every time. We intend to bring them back regularly.
