Classes

We teach hatha yoga. “Ha” means sun and “tha” means moon, so “hatha” yoga is designed to balance your body and mind. All of our classes except Restorative & Yin are flow style.

Best place to start for beginners is Intro to Yoga or Yoga for Stress Relief. After you have a few of these under your belt, dive in and try other classes! Know it will take your body a while to adapt, and that’s okay. It’s not about performance, it’s about honoring to your body and taking care of yourself.

For classes, you don’t need to reserve your spot in advance - just get to the studio 10-20 minutes beforehand. For workshops, advanced sign-up is required.

Welcome to your yoga journey!  Don't worry if you're out of shape or not flexible -
those things will come. It's not about how deep you go into the poses, it's about
connecting with yourself. Yoga is not a competition. The best way to get better at it
is simply to come! We are friendly & welcoming & glad to have you.

Yoga is a combination of practice & study.  We recommend this class for practice when you're new, but also have a class that moves more slowly and breaks down the poses in detail.  Check out our Intro Series HERE.
